Over the years movie theaters have evolved by making the screens a little bigger, the seats more comfortable and even more options for your favorite movie snacks. I never thought I would ever see a movie theater quite like this one.

Cinepolis in the Del Mar Highlands Town Center is unlike any movie theater we have here in San Diego. 

The goal is to enhance the movie going experience by pampering it's cutomers in an intimate and comfortable setting. Once you arrive to the theater you have the option of watching the trailers of each movie on a touch screen if you are unsure of what you want to see. You then have the option to relax or socialize with friends and family in the exclusive lobby, the perfect space to unwind before or after the movie. Take advantage of the comfortable seating areas and full restaurant/bar service. 

Now, for the real fun...walk into the theater and enjoy a choice of 60 to 70 fully-reclining leather seats with ample space between rows. Each seat houses its own swivel table, foot rest and waiter service button (yes you get served in your leather recliner by a waiter with the touch of a call button). How cool is that? An arm rest separates each chair but for the love birds, the arm rest lifts to turn the chairs into a love seat! Movies are shown in both 2D and 3D formats.

Popcorn is always a movie favorite but wait, you can order sushi and a beer? Or how about some raspberry cheesecake brulee with a mimosa? Paninis or pizza? Yep they have those too! WOW!
